Welcome to Woke by Linda
I am a life coach and behavioral therapist and I mainly focus on trauma.
I therefore guide people who are motivated and want to be their best self. Due to trauma and limited beliefs we completely lose sight of where we stopt our growth.

Emotional Freedom Techniques
EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques, is a therapeutic approach often used to process trauma. It combines elements of acupuncture (without needles) and psychological techniques. In EFT, you tap or massage specific meridian points on the body while focusing on emotional pain or trauma. Here are some steps on how EFT massage can help with trauma: 1. *Identify the trauma*: Start by clearly defining the specific event or emotion you want to address. 2. *Assess emotional intensity*: Rate the emotional pain you feel on a scale from 0 to 10, so you can track your progress. 3. *Tapping technique*: Tap on different meridian points while repeating the negative emotion or memory. Typical points include the forehead, the side of the hand, under the eyes, and under the nose. 4. *Reframing*: While tapping, you can also repeat positive affirmations, such as "Even though I feel this way, I fully accept myself." 5. *Reassessment*: After a few rounds of tapping, reassess the emotional intensity to see if it has decreased. EFT can help release emotional blockages and reduce the impact of trauma. However, it’s always best to do this under the guidance of a professional, especially with deeper traumas.
